Timetable
Your timetable is your guide to your school day here at The Comp! In the first couple of weeks it can seem a little daunting as you try to match the room number and find your way around but this soon resolves. Most subjects will be in a base room so you will be in the same room each time you have that particular subject. There will be plenty of help here for you to find your way around. In the meantime you can become familiar with the times involved with the image below.
Our Journal
Our school journal isn't just a method of recording your homework. It is a guide to the school and and a way to help students to plan and record their progress. You will find details on ways to help with your homework and study here. There are areas to record your results and set your targets. A well kept journal is an essential part of staying organised and doing well. Please see below for a sample of how you should fill in your school journal.
Here is a look at some of the highlights of our last school year. It may give you an idea of all that happens in our school and allow you to see some of the activities you might be taking part in here in The Comp!

Our Cara Mentoring Programme is a new initiative started here in the 2019/2020 school year. It involves a number of 5th year students who come together and have been trained to help our new 1st year students. The Cara mentoring provides extra support for all first years settling into Comp life. Every Wednesday at lunch time at 1.25pm, our fantastic team of 5th years arrange and carry out a variety of ice breakers, games and activities for first years to take part in. It is done in a very relaxed atmosphere in room 9 and 10 and all first years are encouraged to join and have some fun.

Our school is making the move to become a cashless school. For the convenience of everyone involved we use a system called Way2Pay. All parents are set up on this system and when you need to pay for something you can go through the link on our homepage and pay. It allows for items to be paid in increments and means that you can pay in your own time rather than waiting for office hours. Help on the Way2Pay system can be found by clicking the button below. |
