Why take part in 'The comp counts'?

‘The Comp Counts’
St Patrick’s Comprehensive School Fundraising Initiative

The Comp has always ‘counted’ in our town and country.
The Comp ‘counts’ as the first Comprehensive School in Ireland.
The Comp ‘counts’ as a supporter of sporting and cultural clubs in our town since 1966.
The Comp ‘counts’ in delivering high quality, innovative and inclusive education for our students.

The Comp is now counting on our current, past and future parents and guardians, current and past staff, community members of Shannon and its environs, our past pupils and friends of The Comp ...
The Comp is ‘counting’ on your support …
… to replace & upgrade data projectors to help us deliver teaching & learning.
… to implement Bláth our planned Sensory Garden.
… to upgrade our gym’s performance space functionality with retractable seating & soundproofing.
… to respond and develop our school facilities for our students and local community.

The Comp Counts …
… is a weekly online draw.
… launch draw on the 3rd of March  for €500.
… increasing by €50 a week if jackpot isn’t won.
… maximum jackpot €5000
… selection of draw options available for players.

The Comp appreciates all support however we respectfully request that no player commits more than €10 for any one draw.

CLARIFICATION EMAIL FRIDAY 8TH DECEMBER 2023
Dear 'Comp Counters'
You received our results email yesterday detailing the following:
The Comp Counts Draw Thursday 7th December 2023
Jackpot €5000
Winning Numbers:  30  14  6  5
No Jackpot Winners
CHANGE TO RESULTS EMAIL 7/12/23
As we have reached our maximum Jackpot total the Jackpot for €5000 will rollover each week. We had hoped to run a second draw each week if the €5000 Jackpot was not won. We have since received confirmation that it is not possible to run a second draw. Instead each week that the €5000 Jackpot is not won €50 will be added to a RESERVE JACKPOT.
Once the €5000 Jackpot is won the Reserve Jackpot will be immediately promoted for the following week's draw.
We apologise for any confusion or disappointment arising from yesterday's email and thank you for your continued support for the Comp Counts Lotto and we wish you luck for next week's draw.
Jackpot : €5000
Please visit our school website www.stpatrickscomprehensive.ie to see how you are 'making it Count at the Comp.'
One last request - if you haven't 'auto-renewed' and you think you can please do and if you know of anyone - maybe our alumni who might be interested in supporting The Comp Counts, please let them know.
Good Luck 'Counters' from The Comp Counts Committee
