A big thank you to Clare GAA for sharing this new initiative with us!
Clare GAA are starting a new initiative starting the Monday 18th January at 4.15pm where our newest member of staff Rob Mulcahy is going to do a 30-40-minute live session on Youtube focusing on bodyweight physical activity exercises that your students will be able to take part in order to get them more physically active.
Rob has a Masters in strength & conditioning and is the S&C with the Clare Senior Footballers & Development Squads.
The sessions are going to be on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and we would love to get as many Secondary School Children on these sessions as we can. If someone can't make the session they will be able to watch it back and take part by finding it on the Clare GAA Coaching & Games Youtube Channel.
We would really appreciate if you were able to forward this message onto the relevant PE teachers in your School.
All sessions start at 4.15pm after school and will last 30-40 miniutes. The Links for next weeks sessions are: Monday 18th January youtu.be/uO_eDRE1fQM
The GAA / PDST Future LeadersSoloChallenge is designed to promote positivity, physical activity and wellbeing among young people, while encouraging them to stay at home and follow HSE guidelines at the same time. It is a student and teacher challenge which will run fora number of weeks. Our very own Sally in TY has been announcing the weekly challenges and you can see these videos on the GAA Future Leaders social media channels.
