Celebrations at the comp!

We are celebrating here in St Patrick's Comprehensive School thanks to the wonderful generosity of Ei Electronics - Ei are sponsoring the refurbishment of our astro-turf as their  ‘big’ CSR project for 2021.'

Ei are renowned in Shannon for their generous commitment to their local community - we are humbled and over-whelmed that they have chosen St Patrick's Comprehensive School to benefit from that generosity. 

Our school community have worked very hard this year to raise funds for our astro-turf refurbishment - thanks to the commitment and generosity of all in our school community, including local companies who donated to our fund in such difficult times, we raised ca €11,000 - those funds will now be used for sport equipment and maintenance of our astro-turf.

St Patrick's Comprehensive School when founded in 1966 was a pioneering school for a new model of education in Ireland. This collaboration with Ei, coupled with the partnerships in our school community between students, staff, parents, our local community, and local industry is a testament to that model of education.

Our students both present and to come will benefit hugely from the refurbishment of our astro-turf - on their behalf we thank Ei Electronics.
